Danelectro N/D367 The Female Vocal Mic ReviewsI purchased this microphone at Professional Sound and Music in San Diego, CA for $140.08 (including tax) on 05/20/00. I got the idea from my enemy Dave (a guitarist) who was reading a review over the phone to me about how this microphone was specially designed for the female voice whereas the Shure SM58 was not. At the time I was starting a band (with me as lead singer) and the only vocal mic I had was an Audio-Technica (DR-1000) which seemed weak (and I always wondered why the salesguy in Guitar Center recommended it to me.) Last year when thinking about starting my band again a drummer called Dave (another one) asked me what kind of microphone I use (because he's a snob and will only play in bands with people who use "top of the line equipment") and I said an Electrovoice and he replied, "If I were you I'd upgrade to a Shure." I said, "I don't think so!" Jill Ballard rated this unit on 2002-02-03.More Danelectro PA_Gear |
