Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

SSL waves bundle comes with the channel strip, eq, and bus compressor. When I first got it I threw it on every track and didn't hear any change. Once I started tweaking knobs and compressing and eq'ing I amazed.

I bought this bundle on sale last year. I loved working on the SSL board so much I wanted to get that SSL sound inside my daw.

I Love the UI. Its nice and sleek. The presets are good. You can easily end up putting these on every channel. The channel strip really feels like using a digital SSL. They are not CPU hungry either. Before I got the Sonnox Oxford plugins these were my go to plug ins for vocals.

Waves did a really good job here. I have no complaints. If I had to put a knock on it I would say the bus compressor does not sound like the SSL bus compressor from the Duality console, but still a good compressor.

If you want SSL sound in a DAW you can't wrong here. These plug ins are very flexible and will enhance any sound. Before I got the Sonnox Oxford plugins these were my go to plug ins for vocals.
